Brownbody will offer a small cohort of donation-based Learn to Skate lessons in Spring 2022. Skaters who participated in our Fall 2021 lessons and anyone who signed up for our wait list will be given first access to registration. Lessons will be open to the wider community as space allows.

All lessons will be between 10:45 am and 12:45 pm on Saturday mornings. Lesson dates are: February 12 at Tria Rink, February 19 and 26 at Charles M. Schulz-Highland Arena, March 5, 19, 26 and April 2 and 9 at Tria Rink. There are no lessons on March 12.

As always, skaters should plan to participate in each weekly lesson. The skills taught for this session are cumulative and missed lessons may impact the progression of the participant. Parents are required to remain in the rink for youth under 18.

Complimentary skate rental and helmets are available, or skaters can bring their own. All participants must wear gloves or mittens, long pants like leggings, sweatpants, or snow pants; long sleeve jacket, sweater, hoodie, or sweatshirt. We will follow recommended CDC COVID protocols as well as any state, local, and rink guidelines. Everyone entering the arena will be required to wear a mask, whether on or off the ice.
