For Fall 2023, Learn to Skate will be held at Highland Ice Arena on Saturdays between 10:30 am and 12:50 pm beginning September 30 and running through November 18. Lessons are 40 minutes in length within the timeframe above. November 11 will be an off-ice community event in place of regular lessons.

During each session, skaters learn the basics of skating with Brownbody’s team of Black and Brown skating instructors. Brownbody’s goal with these lessons is to offer a learn to skate experience for youth and adults from Black and Brown communities that centers blackness in the curriculum, format, and structure of the program.
